Tratto Chirale: our third lab will be inaugurated during Arduino Day 2024

On 21 March, on the occasion of Arduino Day 2024, we'll officially inaugurate our third laboratory, Tratto Chirale.

Our Digital Innovation Hub is gaining a new laboratory, joining the two spaces already open in Via Ignazio Persico, in the historic Roman neighbourhood of Garbatella.

The newborn Tratto Chirale completes the presence of our facility directly “on the street”.

Since the beginning of the year, walking down Via Ignazio Persico — once crossed by tram tracks — you encounter, within a short distance, Spazio Chirale at numbers 32 and 34, Tratto Chirale at number 42, and Punto Chirale at number 46.

Three different shop-windows onto the street that reflect three points of view of our service philosophy, oriented toward innovation for businesses and toward social innovation as well.

The names of our laboratories were not chosen at random. Spazio Chirale is the only one of the three to extend over two levels, conquering the third spatial dimension.

Tratto Chirale features the longest linear development of its wide laboratory hall.

Punto Chirale is the smallest of the three spaces — yet it contains the most precious technology in our machine park.

Machines, technologies and equipment have been redistributed across the three laboratories to allow several different activities to be carried out simultaneously.

Since the beginning of the year the number of projects and initiatives followed by Chirale has grown considerably, and in the coming months training activity — both daytime and evening — will be stepped up too.

On 21 March, at the start of spring, the world day dedicated to Arduino will be celebrated — the small but mighty board around which a platform was born that has revolutionised the field of interactive electronics.

As every year, we’ll organise the Roman edition of Arduino Day in our spaces, and it will also be the occasion for the official public opening of the new Tratto Chirale.

One more reason to take part in our traditional open day, on a day filled with unmissable events celebrating innovation and creativity.
